mutable muzzy musics

technical requirements of the installation

there are two versions of the mutable muzzy musics installation. the big setup and the small setup.

big setup:

the big setup consists of:
3 controller
1 display
1 projection
pair of speakers

hardware/software supplied by involving systems:
- macintosh G4 400 / 64 mb ram (1*64 mb), 20gb harddisk, keyboard, mouse
- 17" mulitisync display
- 3 controller
- analog to midi converter
- usb midi interface
- wintel machine PentiumIII / 500 mhz / 128MB ram / 10gb harddisk, keyboard, mouse / windows 98 SE
- soundcard with midi adapter
- case for the analog to midi converter (where the display sits on top)
- case for the pc and mac computer
- beanbags to sit on

hardware/software supplied by venue / organizer / promoter:
- extra room for the installation, which is dark (for projection)
- power supply
- data projector with vga input, 1024x768 pixels resolution (not interpolated)
- vga extension leads from pc to projector
- 1 sufficient stereo amp
- audio extension leads (rca output)
- 2 big speakers

the small setup consists of:

5 headphones

- 17" mulitisync display
- 3 controller
- analog to midi converter
- usb midi interface
- case for mac, converter and headphone amp (where the display sits on top)
- 5 headphones
- beanbags to sit on

hardware/software supplied by venue / organizer / promoter:
- enough space for the setup
- power supply at that space

measures:
circular box: 74,5 cm diameter x 53,5 cm hight
beanbags or ather seats: 60 cm diameter
all in all: 2 m x 2 m
